He's been accused of being a bad boy.... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...o-accused-attempted-manslaughter-Holland.html He is one player who I really thought would be a shining star for us, but ended up being rather invisible imho.
Hmm, sounds serious - hope it turns out he's telling the truth, but unfortunately wouldn't be surprised if not. Footballers hardly have a good reputation for their off-field antics. I think Sno could be categorised under the 'cult' status for his time with us, but I think most would agree that whilst we were hoping for the player that stole the show in a pre-season friendly against Ajax, what we got was somewhat uninspiring, yet decent enough. Who else do people think flattered to deceive after initial hope? High up my list would be Nick Carle - when he first joined I thought he was a tricky, luxury player that could come up with a moment of magic to win games, but it turned out we timed his sale to Crystal Palace to near perfection. May be mildly controversial but David Noble might be worth a mention also.
