I really don't understand the logic behind sacking him at this stage and to replace him with di Matteo. I'm a Liverpool supporter and I respect Chelsea as a competitor. The PL is made strong by great players and coaches from all over the world. Chelsea have contributed alot in making it such a succesful league but in the last few years they have also contributed in it losing some great personalities by alienated some of the most successful coaches and players (mourinho, scolari, ancelotti, AVB, schevchenko, torres, deco, ballack, alex) and that worries me. I mention AVB based on his success before he came to Chelsea. This was such a good opportunity for Roman to send a clear message to his players that the coach is in charge and get rid of all the senior players that aren't contributing in the summer. Question is which coach would come to Chelsea after this firing record? Roman has lost the plot.
I've always maintained that RA has been too quick to sack managers without them being given enough of a chance to prove themselves. But anyway, who's next in the fireing line,... Benitez, Mourinho(Returning?), Sam Allardyce?, ........# It's all up in the open at the moment, but personally, i would give di matteo a chance/shot at reataing our champions league status. he was good at west-brom, so why not give him a shot, and anyway he loves chelsea and becasue he used to play for us, he would feel more attatched to the players (who he already knows btw) Good shout me thinks!
Great thread I have to say. It's got to the point where he actually harming Chelsea rather than helping.
Doesn't tolerate anything though does he? Instead of criticizing others being honest might actually be useful. To be fair I didn't expect much more from you.
RA is entitled to do what he wants and history actually suggests we'll now do well.Mid season sackings have done that for us. Got rid of Jose and we reached the CL Final. Got rid of Scolari we won the FA Cup. We're still streets ahead of Liverpool who are apparently on the up although 7th and fighting it out with Norwich doesn't seem like up to many outside Klanfield.
The white robe Klan are out today. It's what's known as banter. Have you got bored of persecuting a racially abused footballer? So you are on our board instead. Evra is on the box soon, sing Suarez songs at him
It's funny, they've won 2 games in their last 10 in the Prem and think they're doing great. We've won 3 and sack the manager for doing ****e.It shows what the ambitions of the clubs are these days.Liverpool accepting mediocrity and fighting out with Norwich whilst taking pens to beat a Championship side.
The open-top bus parade in Liverpool - for taking a Chanpionship side to pens - was a success despite the weather http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...white-supremacists-marched-Washington-DC.html
CPof L has very little of substance to say, prefers to taunt and run down others. Can't enter a discussion without becoming abusive and derogatory. RA has today pissed away another god knows how many millions, and put the team back another year. Gourlay and Buck have said 'Yes " so many times, they've worn their chins away. Sick, sick , philosophy at the top end of our club.
No Pensioner,I only point out facts and deride idiots like yourself when they talk absolute ****.And there you go again assuming you have any idea what Buck and Gourlay do or say to RA. Instead of deriding the clubs officials for the **** the players have gotten us in you might like to offer us your insightful solution.
You always confuse what you say as being "facts ", and what anyone else says as being "absolute **** ". That's a pretty big mistake to make, and there's a name for it, self delusion. And like RA, you keep on making the same mistake over and over. As for the Clubs Officials, who is it that allowed the players to get the power to bring down not just one, but several managers ??? Who is it that botched the initial meeting with the Pitch Owners through greed and arrogance ???? Who advises RA on which players to buy ?? If not the Officials, then who ? And they also keep repeating the same mistakes again and again. Players play and do what they're told, the Manager manages, the Officials officiate. At least that's how successful clubs do it. That's what Jose did until the Officials interfered. My insightful solution is pretty simple. Next time we decide to appoint a manager, the Officials need to think long and hard about how he might want to achieve success. If that success depends upon him removing the disruptive older players from the club, rebuilding the team and taking a couple of seasons to do so, then DON'T hire him. Instead, get a yes man for the job. Then our Officials can go about their lives in peace and quiet. And we'll see you same time next year.
