Are you on twitter by any chance? Sure I read that as a tweet at half time?!

Wow! Today was a result and a half. And after Bolton we played well, how good were we today?!? If it wasn't for Vorm we could of had more! I feel really happy right now and I am confident we won't get relegated now. We're in 8th, I don't think we'll stay that high, but I don't think we'll be as low as most people expected us!

The words "Season defining performance" get banded around a lot

But it was just that, nothing short of a phenomenal Football game. It's what you support football to see really.

Agreed, but a word or two for Elliott Ward after so long out. One or two last ditch tackles that could have gone horribly wrong - but didn't.

It must be tricky coming back in after such a long absence, so well done Wardy <ok>

Could have got something at the end but that would have been undeserved. Great result. You out-swanned us. <laugh>

Thanks for that compliment 'jack'. Wasn't feeling too confident at half time, but what a turn-around. I'm sure we'll meet each other in the Premier League next season!!!

Just noticed that we have taken maximum points from the teams that were promoted with us. 12 points from 4 games against teams you expect to be your rivals is outstanding. As long as you get points from the teams below or around you, you are always going to have a platform to pin your season to.

I'm sure you will bounce back. Although I felt we deserved the victory, you also did create enough chances to win the game. You're on 30 points, you don't have to do much more to stay up now.

loved holtys explanation of showing his trim body. " by this time of season i am close to suspension usually, but nowhere near this season so i had yellows to spare" . brilliant allround performance and once again "fringe" players have come in and given a performance that makes it hard for them to be dropped, probably only ruddy, martin and naughton could be considered certain starters.

When all are fit I wouldn't say Martin was an automatic selection. Tierney and Naught on as full backs and Whitbread and one other in the centre, I assume Ayala until Be net gets a couple of run outs.
