Intersting. I know nothing about him but i'd much prefer we secured tallent for South America than the decent players from here.

21 goals from 43 games is pretty decent, also done well for the National team with 5 from 10. Would definitely prefer it if we went for a foreign player. <ok>

we cant sign foreigners we are all racists remember. seriously though, whilst it is nice to have english players, it should be a bonus that the player we have decided fits in best is english rather than the other way.

Had never heard of him before but just searched some of his goals on youtube (I know you can't judge a player soley on it). He looks like he can use both feet and is decent in the air. Doesn't look particulaly big or strong but seems to have a decent leap (ala Tim Cahill) which gets him above players and has good power in his headers.

The only risk here is we need a striker who can settle into English football straight away. A proven Premier League player is safer in this sense.

I think they have to really research and have big talks with any foreign players in this situation just to get to know them and see how suited they are to the English game.
