'Dated' or 'traditional' .....I guess it depends on your viewpoint! I will happily use my very latest technolgy to photograph and send a picture of the tradtional logo; they can sit happily alongside each other. The clip art gave nothing to the world, it was crass simplicity; it could have been done by a sub-16 student. I have seen better, higher quality artwork by many, many students. Had a famous artist bequeathed us some style-ized loggerheads I wonder what the reaction would have been?
I suspect Clippy could have featured in Daktari or the Lion Comic. just think of the scope for Loggerheads Merchandise and the fans queuing to get into the club shop. if I was them I would put an extra portacabin behind the west stand next season selling kit and regalia, if it can be staffed,.
not totally won over by the ltd choice of badges to vote for. I go for "B" and hope in some future re brand the badge may become a shield again and more upmarket than the clipart Loggerheads suggested,
I was frustrated at the choices. Seems to be a case of 'spot the difference'. Agree that B is the best of the bunch as it is balanced.
