Local boy Danny Ings gave up on becoming a Saints legend by taking a huge jump to Aston Villa who were a bit crap and he didn’t make them any better. Was then discarded and sent out to Weat Ham where his impact has been - and I’m being generous - pretty marginal.

Now out of contract so do we re-sign him and offer him the chance to re-ignite his career or let the bugger rot?

My Leeds mates want him or Vardy as a squad player to complement Piroe who they think will score loads of goals in the PL.

Hopefully the Leeds staff think the same thing so they can challenge Derbys points total next season
