4 points........... Well now the going gets tough, 4 POINTS, thats 2 results, for us 2 wins due to goal difference, it is of course debateable whether we would be bottom on 6 points even if KEEF was still here. I know he is gone its history nice bloke and all that......one thing is certainly clear persevering with NM is not working, to be fair none of our strikers are, last season Steady showed good form for a while, pitters did his bit, NM came back after injury for a run of "easy" fixtures to score a few then dried up. (as an aside I did highlight those fixtures as the ones that would see us safe!) The new man has it to do........should really say The new man has it to do Brum are in a really poor position points wise but have potentially 9 in hand that would put them 2nd...and i am going say now, it might work "we have not got a icecreams chance in hell on sunday"...... will SW have the next game against Brum...new manager might want to have an easier fixture to start with a win!!!! His target this season finish higher than 20th
If the board had acted sensibly at the end of last season, or even after the first game of this season when we were soundly beaten by an average looking Ipswich and sacked the useless Millen before it got out of hand then things might not be quite so bad as they are now. We know that no game is easy at this level, but the more we extend our winless run the harder it will be to get out of the habit of losing. We not only need a Manager but we also need a motivator, Faith Healer, magician, and someone who knows how to grind out results if that's what it takes to start climbing the table.
Thanks to those hand held speed cameras I have aquired as many points on my driving licence in the last two and a half months as your football team have
hope you will show respect to paul trollope (brums assistant manager) when he arrives on sunday you know, the last manager to win a bristol derby
