I never thought I'd ever be indebted to Charlton but after yesterday I offer my thanks. Getting rid of Brandon Hanlon and Regan Charles-cook was a very nice gesture. THANKYOU.
I wasn't there to be able to judge. Glad to hear that the performances were worthy of note, but I'd prefer to wait to pass definitive judgement. All too often early performances flatter to deceive. Obviously I hope that won't be the case and grumpy morphs into happy. There's not a lot better than turning another (local rival) club's discards into consistently reliable players.
It is ironic however that Charlton were only able to name five subs on saturday against Sunderland and the two we signed from them, got a goal and assist respectively. Funny old world ain't it
