Its about this time every year I get the feeling this season will be better than last season....the fixtures come out the sky games are announced and then we sign ..SIMON OSBOURNE ..NED ZELIC..Patrick Agyemang ..Dyer.. then i think well next season we will have a real go..

This season is different wayyy different and its all thanks to Tony Fernandes..
He has come in to OUR club and treated it like OUR club...not treating it like a toy he has just bought and cant wait to show his friends..
He hasnt promised the world but he has GIVEN STABILITY..It means
    1. the state or quality of being stable.
    2. firmness in position.
    3. continuance without change; permanence.
    4. resistance to change, especially sudden change or deterioration: The stability of the economy encourages investment.

Just incase we forgot what it was..

He has set about his business making some tough choices..when NW was sacked i for one though he was wrong but he made a choice which he felt was in the BEST INTEREST OF OUR CLUB. One that was proved correct.

He has started work on a new training ground which will stand to club club in the future(even if he leaves he is trying to secure the future of OUR club)

He is trying to find a new ground in which he belives we can go forward and reach OUR full potential.

He has backed the manager with cash for players that can make a diference to OUR club.

Also in Amit Bhaitia we have a vice chairman that will to listen to the fans and with these 2 and the rest of the board QPR can start to reach its full potential. We give out about owners and chairmen alot and all usually correct.

It makes a very nice change to want to say thank you for running QPR as OUR Club.

I dont have a feeling this season I have a belief....
THIS SEASON COULD BE THE SEASON WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR...

Well said Corker. Anywhere from higher-mid to lower-mid table is possible. 7th-14th - that encompasses 8 positions.

I think around 13th for us this year and a continuation of our upward curve.

Well said Cork-a - I too get carried away pre-season and, barring 2 years ago and a couple that I now only vaguely remember, get that reality check all too quickly.

I can't wait for this year and share your (and Swords) optimism about where we might finish.

I will correct you though - TF does treat this like a toy but it is his favourite toy and he also is well aware of its intrinsic value if he looks after it and keeps the accessories and packaging in tact.

    Truly happy times. :)

Do agree with all but was also very saddened by Neil's departure and your comment that says was proved correct could also have being said Neil could have kept us up as we didn't move any higher than when he was sacked.
Although you could see our last 7 or so games improved ten fold and so it's onwards and upwards from now on
And this is going to be a very exciting season for us with hopefully not so many squeaky bum times unless it's cos we are fighting for pole position

Yes and remember Hughes spent a wad of cash in January. I think COLIN would've kept us up too but despite having a dreadful run when he took the job, Hughes managed to turn it around by beating all the good teams and keeping us up. So he fulfilled his brief and I think he'll kick us on now to the next level.
