Things aren't perfect, on or off the pitch, but the change in the club is enormous and exciting for all supporters who can embrace it ... ... there'll always be a noisy handful who want to voice their nitpicky know all pessimism first and grudging praise last. These letters have just gone off to the club now the season is finally over. Hi Ladies Now the season has ended, we just wanted to say a massive thank you for all of the wonderful assistance we’ve received from every single person we’ve dealt with in the ticket office this season. We're aware of the amount of criticism the ticket office receives, and we can honestly say that this is completely unjust and not a true reflection from our experience. As you’re aware, we've dealt with many questions/queries that had already been answered in FAQs issued by the club particularly in the last couple of weeks. We hope the move to digital season tickets goes smoothly for next season and we're more than happy to assist with getting any messages out. ____________________ Chris - Thank you for all of your help during this season. On behalf of all of the group of fans that we’ve assisted this season, we’ve had a thoroughly enjoyable time and have watched the best football since the first 4 seasons at the Stadium of Light. We've received so many messages along the same lines and I feel it only right to highlight the sense of feeling amongst the fan base, as we see it, at the present time as it’s easy to be critical, but not so easy to hand out praise where it’s deserved. The reconnection of fans and the club has been immense over the last couple of seasons and long may that continue. Despite the obvious disappointment of last night, it’s been an absolutely incredible season and hopefully more of the same next season. I know everyone is so looking forward to the new season and August can’t come quickly enough. The support we have received from yourself this season means a lot to me and the girls in the ticket office. This season has been amazing on and off the field, challenging at times but we couldn’t have asked for anything better. To think this time last year, we were fighting to get out of League One and last night we were battling for Premier League status! I'd agree with every word. My experience with the front of house lasses has always been first class. **** knows what goes on higher up the the managerial chain but the actual people on the desk in the ticket office go above and beyond. Well done to them all.
