I thought Faurlin was good. Derry and Smith were quite good, too. Macheda had some ok moments. Clint Hill was good, imo. Also, Bothroyd looked fair when he came on, too. He held the ball better than those on before him. Helguson caused the MK goal! But made up for it, of course, with a show of strength and collectedness.
The players are obviously lacking confidence at the moment. Games against lower league teams are often real tests of confidence. Our performance today showed the state of the teams confidence. I thought Warnock didn't do a bad job to give the team a bollocking at half time because they were immediately better but that soon ran out. The tactics were better in the second half, too. We did look more composed at times and made some decent crosses (Which DJ should have put away).
Awjm, sorry but we looked clueless. Punting it long and high down the middle wasnt working. When young and smith tried to go out wide we passed it opposite direction into middle. Start of second half looked alot better but a league 1 team ran us ragged in the middle and at the back. Cant help think that even a league 1side had better tactics than we did for most of that game.
