Hayes leaves the club my mutual consent!
Sad to see in a way, but the constant injuries took their toll on his performances.
He started with an amazing loan spell for us and his swansong was probably on the hallowed turf of White Hart Lane.
I think he will leave a big hole in the dressing room and we will also miss his game management. A few league 2 refs will be grateful as he was always in their ear!
Best of luck in whatever you do Paul - certainly been a player worthy of the shirt

Injuries & age has caught up with him we certainly would'nt have got to Wembley without him

Sad really. He was a great captain and I'm sure he will be missed in the dressing room. Great bloke too.

    All the best Paul

Great video tribute to Paul Hayes on twitter. Hope this link lands there https://twitter.com/wwfcofficial

I'm a sentimental old git and that brought a tear to my eyes

Like I said before without Hayes in the two Plymouth games we would never had made Wembley

I heard something about Leyton Orient, which might be a nice fit for him and maybe more money.
