Whatever happens and it looks inevitable that you will leave, thanks for the memories. Having watched the highlights from last season on another thread, what joy you brought us and it was a privilege to witness your moments of absolute genius and class in our blue and white hoops.

I firmly believe that we would not have been promoted without Taarabt and I fear for next season if he goes. How many games did he win for us or snatch a draw (his double against Cardiff, in fact all of his goals against the Welsh teams will live long in the memory). It was a masterstroke from Warnock to pursue him like he did and build a team around him.

I will always be a fan no matter where he ends up and truly hope that he makes the most of his undoubted ability.

Oh God, I am coming over all teary-eyed!

I'm crying with you mate. The boy is a genius, flawed but still a genius.

However, I'm still refusing to believe that it is a nailed on certainty that he is going. Surely one of his advisors will point out that Premier League at QPR is better than French football at PSG. He is already at the club that specialises and idolises flawed geniuses.

Has there been any more news on this? He'd be a fool to leave us in the Premiership for PSG. I moved to Paris last year (had to leave my season ticket the one year of my life Rangers have done well...) and the French league is nowhere near the quality of the Premiership. Living here, you see more pubs advertising Premiership games than you do French league games because the French league is so poor.

Really nice and well appropriate piece Ciarrai.

Whilst on one side of the coin young Adel's been and remains a nightmare, one the other he's been the absolute star of our show. I enjoyed seeing that positive view reflected.

It would've been great to see him staying a while longer with a few credible pieces added to the jigsaw...

Welcome to the board Dave, maybe it's more about money than quality.

Do you think maybe he thinks it's a bit out of order not getting offered a pay rise, after his part in leading the club to the Prem?

Adel Taarabt is very close to being an ex-QPR player, Paris St Germain are currently using their new-found affluence to
negotiate personal terms with the Moroccan. He’s another one, horrible little Judas – if you’re willing to go and play in an inferior league for a little bit more money than good riddance, QPR fans should stone him on the way to the Eurostar.

I read this on some website this morning...A bit harsh perhaps...rotten tomatoes would be better.

Whilst we are all speculating that this move could be amount money, he does have family in France which culd be a very good reason for his wanting to go, plus, he may generally feel slightly pi55ed off with the lack of support from the board to NW, who, lets be honest has rejuvenated his career at QPR.

I'd like to think that he is also sticking two fingers up to the dodgy owners we have.

Very harsh really, considering he's from France and his whole family/bird still reside there. Can see why he would go back: more money/european football/family but can also see him staying if those idiots in charge opened their wallets and paid the chap what he's worth. I can't see that happening unfortuantely, and think he will be off :(

    Thanks for the memories Tarbs.

Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock expects the Adel Taarabt transfer saga to be concluded 'shortly'.

The former Tottenham playmaker is wanted by Ligue 1 side PSG, although the clubs have yet to agree a fee.

Warnock recently stated the 22-year-old's future remained 'up in the air', however, he now expects progress imminently.

The Loftus Road tactician says Taarabt will miss the club's pre-season tour of Cornwall and Italy to resolve the situation.

    Talks

"Adel won't be coming with us," explained Warnock.

"I think he will be talking with his people and staying to do his training.

"The ongoing transfer saga with PSG should come to a head shortly."

I am absolutely gutted! Will be very hard to replace. I hope Warnock gets the full transfer money to spend on 4 or 5 players. I feel we need to strenghen in all departments now if we need to stay up.

I was so looking forward to Taarabt taking the piss out of John Terry and the gang. Gutted!

Big shame he's off. I understand why, and wish him all the best. But he'd better not expect to be treated as well as he was a LR. NW's excellent man management, the team shaped around him, fans unconditional adulation, all his faults and tantrums forgiven...he'll never have it so good again.

Neil has been quoted as saying that Dyer would be his replacement. Adding "Kieron's pace would be ideal for that role, and in truth, with all the speculation - I thought Adel might be moving"

But it could also be the lure of European football..? And as much as we owe him a debt for his contribution last season, he would be a fool to remain onboard as the ship is sinking..

It's sad that I have to write this, but apparently he's been left out of our tour squad to conclude his move to PSG.

So long, and thanks for all the memories :(
