    Thank you for saving the win to score the 1000th Premier League, and send a debt ridden pub team down, on this most glorious day for all football fans. For all Premier League history people in decades future will ask who scored the milestone 1000th goal and the reply will always be "It was Remy for Newcastle to relegate that bankrupted team from South East Wales. I remember the day well and an omen appeared in the night sky signalling a victory for football across the world, a star shined so brightly everywhere except that dump Cardiff where it rained on the criminals on their way home to their dustbins. Aye, the 1000th goal was best goal Premier League history."

    Indeed, there have been far more than 1000 goals in the premier leagues 20+yrs. I believe Moritz Volz scored the 15000 goal some seasons ago as headline was 15000 Volz

    We shouldn't let little facts get in the way of celebrating the epicness of the best 1000th goal. And Frank, I look forward to next derby in one of the cups as we knock them out <cheers>
