  3. I think that if given the chance Adam can give us a better balance an dhope that Matty is still there come midnight! Is important that we have thos outlets on both sides of the pitch.

Andy Carroll for HOW much <laugh><laugh> and now? your new super efficient manager does'nt want him... Stone's = glass houses.

HOW long before Brendan Rodgers get the push? Really hope he does well in honesty. But, I think he's out of his depth, just like Pulis is.

Charlie Adam will be O.K. here.

Oh don't get me wrong, he's a decent signing for you, but we couldn't wait to get rid of him.

He cost us approx £8M by the way, so we've cut some of our losses.

No one is defending the Carroll deal, it was ridiculous, of course it was. What has that got to do with anything?

Adam leaving has left us with only Sahin, Gerrard, Allen, Lucas, Henderson, Shelvey and then youngsters for midfield. Crisis, I know.

We are celebrating Adam leaving because his touch is poor, he constantly loses possession, constantly tries long passes and shots that are beyond him... and constantly gives away fouls in dangerous positions because he is either too unfit to track back properly or is too tactically inept to be in the right place. He hasn't cleared the first man with one of his 'ten million pound corners' (Fergie) in a season either.

Good luck, that's all I'm saying.

    Revolution..
<ok> Fair enough BUT I don't understand why you bought Charlie Adam in the first place? We're also after Jordon Henderson I believe?

Good luck for the season too! Who know's Adam might just suit our style.. we have Whelan, Whitehead, Delap etc NONE even try and shoot. At least if C.A. has a go we're OK with that tbh. Our mid field is crap. He is most certainly BETTER than what we have currently. With Kightly,Ness he should do well for us. (given the chance)

    Neither do I!

On paper I suppose he was a British talent, good left foot, good delivery for Carroll... but it didn't work. In form he will create things though.

Thought Kightly looked quite good against Arsenal by the way - boy has some skill.

Hendo I doubt will leave... Apparently he was offered as a swap for Dempsey too. Doubt it. He will probably justify his price tag in a few years, he got a lot of bad press last season that was somewhat unwarranted - he was a 20/21 year old playing out of position in a failing side. What could he do.

You guys have always been handy from set pieces, so his corners and free kicks will do you wonders, esp with Crouch up front.

Adam is slow and clumsy at times but he's not as bad as everyone says. Good signing at 4mil, wish you guys luck.

I think all in all we are very happy with the signing at a decent price - good business for us and a vast iimprovemnet on what we have - regardless of how poor he is compared the Anfield favourites.
