The word 'legend' chucked about too freely by many I feel...Clint hill wasnt a qpr ' legend,' in the marsh, bowles, francis mould but in his time here never gave anything less than his very best..limited at the very highest level but wore our shirt with pride and never ever disrespected the club or the fans...I thank you Clint for representing my club and wish you the very best wherever you go and truely hope you come back to manage us one day!

He really needs to come back in some context - a great ambassador to the club

A mate who is ITK said that Clint didn't want to leave and wanted to join the back room staff. Whatever the truth, thanks Clint.

If only half our squad had the commitment (and ability) that Clint displayed

If that's true mate the club should be ashamed of themselves..

Give me one Clint hill over a thousand mercenaries!

exactomondo facto. Just think back to Park or Boswinger and they are not even fit to wear the hoops.
Clint Hill gave everything, even in nothing games like Saturday. Club must have known before so should have had a lap of honour before the game. They managed it in Ferdinand's retirement tour.

Agreed. A rare shining light among all the overpaid indifference and underperforming mediocrity. Wherever he goes and whatever he does from here I wish him well.

Absolutely gutted, I had hoped he'd have been offered a back room role, training youngsters, alas it is not to be.

Thanks for the memories Clint, us supporters are thankful for your loyalty and dedication.

I guess they already had enough coaches?

Thanks both Clint and Ale for showing what it means to represent the club with class and dignity. Two things more important than the very game itself in the grand scheme of things IMHO.

The end of an era, great professional who could only play the game with his balls out. Thank you.

Would be fantastic if we could get one of those massive murals of Clint to pass around the ground first home game next season

Both Clint Hill and Shaun Derry were brilliant signings, but at the time most of us, myself included were somewhat underwhelmed.
Thanks Clint for staying 6 years on a 12 month contract. I wish all players shared your passion and desire.

I'd pass round a mural of Mohammed Al-Fayed if I though there was any point to it.

The club has made another PR blooper. Surely they must know what us fans think about Clint and Ale and yet no goodbye? Seriously what a bunch of Muppets.
