The reason why I posted my thread last night was because I was waiting for people to sober up after Saturday’s game, but drunkenness is apparently a permanent state for some posters on this site. And that to the extent that they don’t even get their own names (and swear words) spelled correctly.
Thank you for the numerous PM’s I’ve received with an entirely different tone (also from posters on my previous thread). Double standards are better than no standards at all I suppose – hope you understand the meaning of this Danish saying.

As a general idea I’m a bit disappointed to be considered a wum, as my original intention was to give, and receive, an apology. Apparently some posters here don’t know what the idea of an apology is. Maybe they are forced to give too many apologies in their real lives or are socially incapable of suffering the defeat, of actually admitting that they could be in the wrong.

I suppose you are all (or those who swore the most on the thread) bitter elderly men, with no one to shout at except from the TV-set, being too intimidated by your wife to dare to shouting at her (if she’s still there, likely not).

I’ve copy/pasted your “kind and open-minded” answers to my thread. I will use them as entertainment for the Christmas party I’ll be throwing in December.

Name names, at least we can have some idea what you are talking about.

I don't have anything to apologise for, and you don't have the grace to apologise for your actions without getting an apology in return. All done to make you feel ok about yourself it seems.

If your grasp of the English language is causing a problem then perhaps it is best to steer clear of posts that can be misread/misinterpreted.

Mikra - never been to Denmark, so I'll have to take other's thoughts on board. I spent some time in Sweden (Huskvarna) and Norway (Sundvollen) many years back, and the one overriding memory of the place (there aren't many in Sweden to be honest - dire place) was the opinion expressed by those I worked with that Denmark was full of pigs bred by pigs.

The Swedes can be a superior bunch who like to think of themselves as a race apart, whereas the Norwegians are quite different and generally a class act. Apart from it being so bloody expensive there, I'd go back there anytime. Strangely enough, they both share a common cause in regarding Danes to be rude and arrogant.

Seeing this second thread of yours really brings home the bacon you arrogant pig (can I say that?)..............
