Youve said a lot of nice things you have made an old 61 year old very happyn this christmas in london i suppose they would call me billy no mates but im not so sure the southerners know everything about life but i want you all to do one more thing for me tragically an arsenal fan who was a frail old 90 year old was blown by a gust of wind in front of a bus an killed he had on his greatest and most treasured thing his ars enal scarf his name was arnie crouch to honour him the arsenal team are hoping to wear black armbands,so this the season of peace love im asking you fabulous leeds fans to say a prayer for a man who left home to go to an arsenal match but ended up in heaven GOD BLESS YOU ERNIE CROUCH MAY YOU FIND A CLOUD FULL OF HAPPYNESS AND DRIFT OVER THE ARSENAL STADIUM ON MATCH DAYS LOVE PEACE AND RESPECT TO YOUR FAMILY EARNIE WE ARE ALL HEARTBROKEN
lifecheshirewhite can you go on the arsenal site and pay tribute to the man it really did happen im not on a windup if you google his name they have a picture of this lovely old man it made me cry its very sad
Ted I saw it on the news myself, I know it really happened but football fans die every day, some more tragic than others. It is nice that you have left a tribute on the Arsenal page but some of your posts on various pages do come over as a little strange. Heartbroken is a bit strong though unless you knew him? Out of curiosity and me sensing this is all very strange, I couldn't help but google your username, I assume this is the same person: http://www.cardiffcityforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=42892 Nothing untoward just building a picture

In my case, I get out of bed early on a Sunday morning for the same thing.
well I guess im hoping for a world where the cockney as you call us londoners although knowbody actually seems to know where the cockney comes from most .londoners think its to do with bow in east london but ive heard so many stories im completely confused CAN TALK TO THE NORHTHERN FOLK WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY AND WE CAN ALL GO TO A FOOTBALL MATCH WITHOUT THE FEAR OF A CRESCENDO OF BOTTLES RAINING DOWN ON OUR HEADS LIKE THE BATTLE OF AGINCOURT AND YES I DID SOME POSTING ON THE CARDIFF SITE BUT I RAN OUT OF THINGS TO SAY BUT IN THE INSTANCE OF LEEDS UNITED WHEN I LEFT SCHOOL THEY WERE LIKE LIVERPOOL EVERYONE IN LONDON WAS WEARING LEEDS SHIRTS,WITH GREAT PLAYERS LIKE BREMNER GILES LORIMER ETC WE ALL THOUGHT THAT LEEDS WOULD BE AT THE TOP FOR 50 YEARS I would love to have an intellegeant debate with some of you leeds fans to find out how did that snowball stop it seemed to me that the loss of don revie was the destruction of leeds united
1991/92 we won the title in just our second year back in the top flight then a few years later we chased the dream, spent big and failed.
