Came on here after watching Peru get a fantastic point in La Paz, Bolivia (first time in 16 years) and noticed that Black Swan had sent me a PM, which then led me to read for the first time the thread about the Swansea mod and my apparent wumming on the Swans board! I suppose I should get annoyed about such a ludicrous accusation, but I have to say reading the whole thread has caused me much amusement and also much satisfaction in how loyal fellow QPR fans are, thank you one and all! We may be having a rubbish season, but hoops fans, we're still the best wherever we live! I'm confident we will turn things round, ever the optimist, because we are QPR say we are QPR!!!!!!!

No problem Mate. The really stupid thing is that, had they bothered to do their research properly, they would have found your Peru Marathon (?Half) sponsorship link that actually gives away your identity. No WUM I know would do that!! Shows how misleading it can be coming to conclusions from shoddy cyber detective work. More worryingly, also shows that one can get accused of something because of an IP address that I am sure can be wrongly attributed if one knows how.

What I said was (please check Rangercol (the capitals are there in the original quote) was "PS fantastic detective work with PERUVIAN Hoopster...Dilligaf"

This form of humour is called IRONIC.......I was congratulating Dilligaf on attributing PERUVIAN Hoopster with a Leeds address.....Like us your brain Dilligaf,....Peruvian Hoopster is probably in Peru!!!!

Are there other forms of humour you would like explained Col?

Spot on RTID and agreed Beth I didn't think you were having a dig when I read your original post on the other thread.
For anyone who's still interested I have a static IP address here in Peru, but also use a programme called Virtual Private Network (VPN) that costs a fiver a month that gives me a UK IP address when I want it so that I can watch iPlayer, etc. I'm not always using the VPN programme as it can slow down my apple mail system at times. Hope that solves the mystery!

I have been away most of this week and wouldn't have spent time on either the Swansea or Cardiff sites unless we were about to play them - so I only just caught up now.

    Well done Peruvian
