Thank the board that they saw fit to appoint Martin instead of Mark Hughes....after recent results,we are sitting pretty, instead of being in trouble.Hughes has spent a fortune and Martin has spent nothing. Some posters on this board wanted Mark Hughes as our new manager!!Mr Short has been proven right again !

I seen this yesterday and just ignored it, but this is 2 of his latest threads where i get the feeling he is going "nah.nah.nah..nah..nah" with thumb on nose and fingers wiggling about in the air.

He will come back later and say it was just a joke (like he did in the other thread).

I wasn't a supporter of MON or Hughes or anyone else for that matter I was happy just to go along with whoever was given the job. But, to me, to say 'Thank the board that they saw fit to appoint Martin instead of Mark Hughes' is stupid. I am quite happy with the way things have gone but tor all we know if Hughes had come in we may have won all our games or equally we may have lost them all. Those two possibilities are unlikely but could've happened. We just don't know what would've happened if someone instead of MON had been appointed and we will never know.
