thank goodness that is over for another 4 month's . how did we do? well no flag ship signings but some potentially good ones loan market WOW an awful lot of players out on loan Chelsea leading the way from pre season to today are we better off or worse??
We've 'lost' first team player Kodjia, and first-line backups Ayling, Agard and Reid, plus a couple of unknowns to Plymouth on loan (so we can get them back if needed) but gained Tammy, Paterson, Engvall, Moore, Magnusson - all of whom are serious punchers at this level - plus we've made a shed load of money along the way. I'd say we've done the best I can ever remember in these transfer windows. Well done MA, SL, LJ and everyone else at AG.
I thought it was a very good window up until yesterday - I think we have left ourselves light up top.Engvall is going to have to step up, and fast. I suspect Tammy got space in our early games as defenders targeted JK after last season and Tammy benefitted from that in terms of space, he will now be the target after a great start and JK gone, so Engvall needs to be on it from game 1, a big ask. If we could have got someone like Grabben or Joe Mason who are more experienced at this level to help them out I would have been much happier. I said on another thread and will say it again here, it's a big big ask to pair an 18 & 20 year old together and expect them to get the goals this season. They will need help, which is why I guess Patterson was brought in, we are light for goals in midfield judging by last season, when until Tomlin came, if JK didn't score neither did City.... I just hope a very good window didn't turn to $h!t on the last day.

Possibly has a questionable attitude and personality from what I've heard in passing. Perhaps having spoken to him or to his representatives we thought better of it.
Who are we loaning him from, his mum? Stupid journalists he's a free agent so it's a short contract but not a loan!
