Got to agree 100% with Brucie that the January window is ridiculous. Look at the stupid money being paid for average players or unproven players.

There has to be a better way to stop the land rush bidding for players?

However, its over and we can concentrate on the targets at hand. Chelsea tomorrow is another big test and maybe set the standards for the rest of the 13 games afterwards. Will we win? Maybe. Can we win? Yes.

    Here is my team:

    Gordon

    Nedum, Bramble, Ferdinand, McBardo

    Muhammady, Henderson, Richardson, Steed, Sessegnon

    Gyan

Mig, Angeleri, Mensah, Riveros, Cook (if fit), Colback, AN Other

Do we have any news on Catts for tomorrow?

I'd be happier to hear we had some bite in there vs Essien.

I think the atmosphere will be fantastic, can't wait to see Sessegnon in action.

if he is even a slight doubt he shouldnt play kidda. WE will have Muntari for the weekend and maybe a fitter Catts as wel. I think we can exploit Chelsea being a little more fragile at the back with our 4-5-1 system. Richardson and Sess will have huge parts to play coming form deeper positions.

Going to be a great game and atmosphere and a bit of mag bashing I think as well.

Odds on a rousing rendition of 'one Andy Carroll' or 'Carroll for England'?

I'm looking forward to it, like i say though, in my opinion Essien is the clear best player of his sort in the world, if that makes sense.

The gap between him and the next best holding midfielder is far bigger than any other position on the park, is the point.

Clear as Carrolls skin, to coin my favourite phrase of the day ;)
