.Kilcormac/Killoughey lead Birr by 0-13 to 0-8 in the Offaly county hurling final. Decent game with some lovely scores.

 

Kilcormac/Killoughey win 1-21 to 1-14.

Better decision making. At one point a Birr lad was through on goal and in no danger of getting hooked and he elected to kick the sliotar. The ball was saved...

 

St Brigid's beat Western Gaels 1-14 to 0-9 in Roscommon

 

Scotstown lead Clonttibret at ht 0-10 to 0-5 in the Monaghan final.

 

Finished 2-16 to 0-6.

The second goal was the stuff of nightmares for the keeper. It would have been worse if it was a close game.

 

Loughmore-Castleiney beat Nenagh Eire Og in the Tipperary County Senior Hurling Championship Final by 1-17 to 1-16.


Some contest.

 

Meath and Kerry finals on today. The Kerry one is deferred.

The Meath final is 8 minutes in and it is 1-1 apiece. The quality is pure muck. It must be neves. Exciting to watch, hopefully it'll improve when they settle in.

Castlebar beat Breaffy in the Mayo final. 1-11 to 0-8.

The better side won.

 

Crokes beat Castlehaven on Sunday, I don't expect Crokes to be there on St Patricks day, but they were well worthy of the win.
