Not everyones cup of tea but this is one of my all time greatest pieces of music. Mike Oldfield at his best. Many parts to this the tempo builds up throughout the piece, with a crazy ending. Always full blast in the car when I'm on my own. Give it time and it will grow on you. About 19 minutes long.

This is so worth seeing from 1973. I haven't watched it for years Live Tubular Bells. These are some fantastic amazing musicians in this.

He never thought he could pull this live concert off, and driving to the studio on the day of the performance he almost turned his car round to go home, He was a perfectionist and thought he could never recreate the original studio piece in one live sitting. If I recall the story correctly, only on the day of the gig when his agent offered to give him his vintage Rolls Royce after the show did he relent and went ahead with it.
