There will be an important/interesting announcement from the club tomorrow?????

    What can it be?

ME ...I think the Prem league have decided not relegate us because our matches have always been 10 minutes too long...and now they have realised that we have 12 extra points and are clear of relegation trouble

Any other ideas what it could be?

It's going to be about our new club crest that Tony promised us, a new crest and our kit will be pink from now on...

    Tony Fernandes via Twitter:

"QPR fans. Don’t despair. Lots to look forward to. You have shareholders who care. Not perfect. Made mistakes. But we care."

"Some announcements on Tuesday which will please you."

"There is little debt by the way. All shareholders loan. Debt is related to new stadium . Tired of journalists making up stuff."

"We have good people in the club now. Will be choosing a new Ceo in the next few weeks. While the table may not look future still good"

"We have learnt a lot about players, managers , agents. Onwards and upwards. 3 out of 4 season in the premier league."

"It’s not over till it’s over. Got three games left. Need to play for all the game. Not just 85 mins and who knows."

"See you at city. That’s it for the moment. Stay positive. Hard but that’s all we got. you he. Shareholders who are decent and care."

Perhaps the FFP thing has been sorted. Though allowing owners to balance the books by writing loans off does rather play into the hands of rich owners, hardly a level playing field.

Whichever ever way one wants to spin this, it is GOOD NEWS! They're not walking away, we're not doing a Portsmouth and the stadium is still on with shareholders who care!!
First time I've felt happy about our prospects for a couple of weeks!

Yes, feel more positive after that. If the owners stick with it they will eventually get it right. Plenty of mistakes made to learn from.

Stadium - debt - money- FFP = Businessmen know how to sort things when money is involved.
Interesting to see the reiteration of "Shareholders that care" and "care" so expect something that will cement them at the club if you know what i mean.

We have a great chairman despite those that slag him off......how many chairmen actually care enough to keep the fans informed? Not many I bet. Imagine Ashley doing that!!!!!

Good to hear that he and his fellow shareholders are still upbeat and planning for the future.

Most rich owners don't like writing off debt because they hang on to the hope that they might get it back one day. Nevertheless, the remaining debt, albeit shareholder loans, IS still debt as far as the club is concerned and perhaps Tony should have a word with his accountant so that this could be explained to him!

Nevertheless, a very positive message from our Chairman, We are lucky to have him.

Rodney don't be such a plonker.

He's a clown. We've swallowed enough of his BS at this stage. How many times does he have to fukk up before folk don't fall for his silly ramblings every time?

I can't believe anyone in their right mind would think that we are better off without TF and his fellow shareholders. Without the money that they have sunk into our club, we'd never get out of the Championship: look at how well we did over the 15 years after we were relegated from the Premier League in the mid 90's.

    I also believe that:

    (1) He will greatly enhance our training facilities, even if it's not at Warren Farm; and

    (2) He is trying damn hard to make the new stadium a reality.

I don't expect the cynics on here to agree with me. They would much rather moan all the time.

The cynic in me says the this is the old politicians trick of deflecting bad news with something vaguely positive.

Tony took over when we were in the Prem, Rodney. A quarter of a billion quid later & we're in the Championship.

Its such a shame the Mittals didn't buy the Goons out because Bhatia knew how to run the Club.

I think I may agree with you re Bhatia but too late. For the situation we're in today, those tweets are good news.

Just been on Tony's Twitter account. I am stupefied by the abuse he gets from QPR fans and how he puts up with it. Sometimes I wish free speech had to be earned before it could be used in blunderbuss fashion. Oh well.

I have now decided that actions speak loader than words so I just tend to ignore any spin coming from our club for the time being.
