    Texeira returns from loan early.

    So, now what for Texeira?

20 years old. Just two sub appearances in League 1.

League 1 just not ideal for him. A direct league mostly about set pieces and physicality.

And that's really the problem with a lot of the young foreign lads we bring in. There's nowhere to loan them out where they can actually develop their game and play well, unless they have a lot of ability like Suso and go to a La Liga team. The playing style in the championship, and downwards, just doesn't cater for small, technical players.

He went straight into the U-21's and scored about a minute into his appearance from the bench.

I would say find a club that will play him, he's a huge talent and I'm sure the Championship has a few sides that could do with a player like him for the rest of the year. Either that or do the same as we did with Suso. Send him abroad to play in La Liga or a top league. He may need to wait until January (I'm not sure what the windows are) but it's better than U-21 level.

It's important to find an attacking club that is trying to play attractive football and not just "hoof it and please please please get promoted" style football. Some of the recently relegated clubs could find a spot for him I'm sure.

Give him a go behind Suarez and Sturridge since (according to FUT14) he's a CAM and our only other ones are Coutinho and Alberto.

I can only agree with the above- he probably needs to go abroad where his talents will be more effective.
However, if he's going to make it in the PL, he'll have to learn to deal with the more physical game. No-one here stands around waiting for you to show how clever you are.

Back to Portugal maybe? A loan to Pacos, Braga, etc would do him some good.

It's a shame that the loan deal didn't work out for him. If only we had a B team in the lower leagues ... ;)

I thought it strange that when he scored for the U21's he just didn't seem happy, he seems really down at the moment and we need to help him get some footy played, I agree a loan to a team that suits his style would be a good idea.
