But this was always going to happen at some point in time, wasn't it? What's the size of $ity's squad? They must have at least 50 top players? Only XI can play for the first team, which means that most of their squad won't even make it to the bench. Now, these are players who will have been enticed to $ity on a promise of playing, as well as earning the big bucks (I mean, what's the point in paying a player mega bucks), and yet they now go to training every morning knowing they won't even make the bench. How much resentment is that going to cause? Plus, every time their Arab playboy owner brings in the latest star on ever-increasingly stupid wages and puts him straight into the first team (such as Nasri, Clichy, Balotelli, etc) all the discarded stars from yesterday feel that little more unloved and grow that little bit more despairing. We all used to worry that $ity's £billions would ruin English football, but the reality is that they will destroy $ity long before then

what a disgrace.....................im just wondering what Pulis would have done if he had refused to go on for him. He would probably still be spark out at the side of the pitch!.
I read an article a few months back about Pulis and he is quoted in saying that Fuller once went up to him before a game and said he didn't want to start, and that he was understandably furious with him. Fuller came off the bench and scored and apparently told Pulis afterwards, "you've got to calm down gaffer, you'll give yourself a heart attack."
