Mancini is rumoured to have told Tevez to be prepared for selection against the Swans. Did he play for the reserves the other day? If so, how did he get on? Can't say I'm that enthused about the idea of a rampaging Argentinian heading to south Wales with a point to prove, but it is nice to see top players playing against your team. Man City fans, what's your thoughts on Tevez? Do you want him back?

I was hoping he would never play for us again, my worry is what effect will it have on the dressing room, who is going to take a back seat, obviously Dzeko will be forth choice if they are all fit but is RM going to drop Balotelli or Aguero so Tevez can start?

My mate who is a Man City fan (yes he is from Manchester) hates Tevez with a passion. He says the only way Tevez can redeem himself would be to score a hatrick at Old Trafford, mooney the Stretford End and karate kick Fergie. I dont know if it's just me but that seems a pretty good idea of how strong your average Man City fan feels about Tevez. So would he have a lot to prove ? I think I'd have to say yes, he could run riot against us and everyone else !

Tevez is all the worst things we hate about modern football.... simples.

He will go down as ****ting on Sheffield Utd, West Ham, Man Utd, Man City and the Premier League in general... with his joke of an agent laughing all the way to the bank.

    Hope he doesn't play though!

Even though I'm a hammer and we're suppose to love him for 'saving' us, I can't stand the prick. Most of our problems stemmed from signing him, we were unbeaten when he joined, and we didn't win with him in the team for 4 months, it was only when Noble joined the side that we started winning. His actions to engineer a move were dispicable. I hope Man city end up sue him for every penny he's got. It's no less than he deserves.

Hope you guys do the waving of money stunt and boo him. His behavior was shocking and I can't believe City didn't manage to get rid of him.

Can't understand this. Tevez has behaved despicably in all this. Going home and openly criticising Manchester as a city on chat shows, and being highly critical of his Club and Manager too. Of course the Brit-hating Argies lapped it all up. He should rot in the reserves imo. **** him.

I hope he plays and we win.

Manchester as a city deserves to be criticized. What do you want him to do? Lie and say what a great place it is. RM doesn't have a choice. He is a Man City player and that's that. Tezez has been fined for him misdeeds, so they can't just get rid of him if no-one will buy him. This is typical of fans to think that Man City have £30-40m spare cash and can just afford to dump Tevez. If they just didn't play him they would get sued big time by Tevez. He's paid his fine, so let him prove himself. His misdemeanors were not serious enough to sack him. This is a storm in a teacup. Mostly the press inflaming the situation. Just chill. What effect will it have on team morale if you're booing your own players. You have a great chance of winning the title. Don't blow if because of some childish need to get back at a player.

Spot on and as i said above "I don't think RM has had much choice in all this TBH

My concern is where is he going to fit in as Aguero and Balotelli are playing well (the latter had a bit of a mare yesterday) i hope his come back is not going to cause problems with the rest of the team.

    How embarrassing was that. <laugh>

I think he will get on late if at all, with a bit of luck they have hit a bad patch and we will be in the lead before he comes on.
