Secondly is he any good? as from what I recall he's nothing special Cheers
You weren't at Carrow Road for his absolute screamer last season then? I'd say that was pretty special at least.
Even his agent has said he's happy to see out his contract and try and get us back in the premier league. With that in mind I really can't see us selling him.
When he plays well he's excellent, but has been prone to injuries, and has had spells where he's absolutely dreadful. If he can keep fit for the majority of the season and play to the standard he's capable of, he'd be a worthwhile addition.
We've rejected one bid, can't see him leaving. Seems incredibly happy here and I imagine he'd like to actually get a full season under his belt with us. He's been very unlucky with injuries. His injury last season really hampered our progress just as we seemed to find the best midfield set up. Can't see him going anywhere just yet.
This is getting a bit like Shola in reverse. Glad to hear he's been seen in Norwich today, Supers. Carrowroad.net posted a rumour that he's on his way to Sunderland for a medical at 16.23. Seems unlikely, unless he started late!
His goal against you was an absolute scorcher but he isn't anything particularly special in the Premier League. Of Norwich's four central midfielders, if I had to pick one to go, it would be Johnson then Tettey. I'd still rather keep him though.
If he is up that way Rick, he could always divert into Newcastle on the way home and bring Shola back with him
