Terrorist bombing in Oslo, Norway

    A large bomb blast has hit near government headquarters in the Norwegian capital Oslo, killing at least two people.

    What do you guys think? Is this the start of "something bigger"?:emoticon-0108-speec And why is Scandinavia such a target? "They" tried the same thing in Stockholm last winter, which fortunatly ended with the suicide bomber only managing to blow himself up (barely).

    Will London be in danger during the olympic games next year?

    There are no suspects right now and nobody has "admitted" that they are behind the bombings.

    London has been a magnet for terrorists for centuries and will continue to be, however such is the accepting nature of London, those with hate in their minds do tend to be overcome, and the security forces are rather excellent. I expect someone will try something but I will be surprised if anything actually comes off.

    It comes with the territory of being arguably the most accepting and global city in the world, for every view possible, be it religious, sexual, cultural, etc - there have been many incidents throughout history but London does a good job of looking after itself and each other.

    Even if nobody talks to anyone else. Which isn't actually the case nowadays.
