2 managers out meeting clients in Edinburgh today so my boss is the only manager here......last time this was the case he sparked a massive row by shouting at someone about the annual leave process............today he's just dropped a right ****ing clanger About half one he noticed there was no **** in from the other team & that they were all at lunch at the same time. He got all jobsworth about it as he wasn't notified about it but others here had agreed to cover their phones for them. He goes in the kitchen area......5 minutes later the manager of that team calls up asking about lunches etc.......5 minutes after the big boss is on the phon asking about it. My boss has obviously been on the phone to them about lunches!! Only turns out the woman who was supposed to have had lunch earlier has had some news that a friend of hers has passed away & has been in tears all morning about it She wanted to go for a drink with her pals here so they could comfort her at this time..........when she got back from lunch my boss was seething.....till she ripped him a new one Awkward silence around the office all afternoon since!!
i'd sack her. she shouldnt be bringing that **** to her work. there's a recession on, its dog eat dog
