It is gratifying to see that so many still hold David in such high regard.

I doubt that either Patti or Deon will look in on the off chance, but if by chance you do, we've not forgotten and are still grateful for you sharing your husband and father with us.

As is the case with a few others, I never met him but remember his fantastic contributions, and quite fitting that his memory lives on through the prediction league.

Some will recall that this board went through some pretty rocky moments. David was one.of the original (or very early) Mods who steered us through some very stormy seas. I never met him in person but we met virtually though this site and I've just checked an old private message from just 8 days before he died which was gracious and encouraging.

Sadly missed by the football family but most of all by his nearest and dearest. RIP.
