Swansea City were 92nd in the football league, skint, hiring non-league players after a trial day, playing in a decrepit stadium and coming off a succession of chancer owners all looking for a quick buck. Yesterday afternoon we were top of the Premier League, even if just for an hour or two.

Things may look bad for you now but there is a way back.

If PST can regain control of your club and implement the kind of long term plan our supporters trust and board did in those days then there's every chance that in another few years Pompey can regain a place at the top table. I wish you luck.

    Nah.

Get supporters on the board. Learn the lessons of the past. Run the club sustainably, play football the right way and you'll be back soon enough.

Says a fan of a club currently joint bottom of the Premier League, and looking at the trap door slightly ajar beneath them, eh Mark <ok>

The Lone Rangel does have a point though. Especially if your PST can deliver the take over.

    Hi TLR!

I'm in Swansea at the moment, and went to your league game v West Ham last week.

Honestly, I've been to many top stadiums in my life .. the Bernabeu, Etihad Stadium, White Hart Lane .......... Fratton Park <whistle>

You can add the Emirates, Stamford Bridge to that list.

The Liberty stadium is fantastic, and I found watching the Swans a fantastic experience. You have a lot of top class players, and its nice to see a team coping after the vultures nicked Allen and Sinclair off you after their impressive seasons last time round.

I am thinking of going to your next game on Saturday before I head back to London, I enjoyed the footie so much! <ok>
