Courtesy of Rick Skelton 1. Sort out the membership scheme. Every adult in Zone 3 & 4 pays the same except the corners and kids & OAP concessions restored. 2. Restore the disabled concession that was needlessly removed. Positive PR right there. 3. Promise to keep the West Stand Upper open regardless and thank everyone up there for their previously unwavering support. 4. Restore the name "HULL CITY" to all club media and communications. 5. Offer an olive branch to the fans for three years of recrimination and ask OSC and HCST to request a truce. 6. Clarify Steve Bruce's position and ask him to stop sounding so suicidal in media interviews. 7. Subsidise travel for the away leg at Derby as a thank you and an encouragement for fans to travel in droves. 8. Set a fair but attractive price for the home leg and let the freshly created buzz sell them for you. 9. Tell us the truth about the attempts to sell the club and any potential buyers. 10. Treat the fans as members of the club because they are. Don't just pretend with some scheme. WE ARE HULL CITY.
It's amazing how easy most or all of that probably is to do. Yet the idea of any of the 10 happening seems nigh impossible.
Some really positive suggestions here. With his illness, however serious. You can understand if non of the above happens in the short term. However, if indications were given in the long term that most of these points would be addressed - that for me would still be a win-win.
Apologise for saying that fans could "die when they want". It may not have been meant as a serious request, but it was a stupid thing to say and should be withdrawn.
Appoint a 'football person' as CEO asap, and Ehab to back out the day to day running of the club. Until that happens any other request to 'meet halfway' and respond postively to any supporter request will be either a total waste of time, or will represent no more than 'lip service' that eventually becomes meaningless in its application down line
The problem with each one of those 10 points is that it requires concessions (pun intended) by the Allam's for each point. No way jose, no chance lance, never ever trevor will that happen.
id be happy with 1, 2, and 4 some of the rest would be good but unnecessary, on that subject I think Burnsy was out of order last night asking Steve Bruce to talk to Ehab about the scheme, that isn't his job, no wonder he always sounds suicidal in interviews!
Half a day's work, tops. I know some didnt like Adam but he'd have done all of these things, with the exception of number 9.
Agree, all very good suggestions but likely to fall on deaf ears. Allam's biggest problem is he treats HCAFC solely as a business. He doesn't understand how we the fans feel as he is not & never has been a fan of Hull City. By his own admission he never supported the club from the terraces at Boothferry Park so he has no idea how it feels to be "emotionally involved". He runs HCAFC along the same lines as Allam Marine. He doesn't understand that lifelong football fans & people buying diesel engines are not the same to be treated in the same way.
Yep if they don't like his engines they find another company ... But fans of a football club stick through everything.
9 is ridiculous agreed. Why do we need Bruceys postion clarifying? Its olny the numpties on here speculating and wanting him sacked. Not heard one thing from the Allams unless i missed it.
Yes they have a say if you want to vary prices from normal ones for the day as they get a cut of the tickets. One of the lower league sides has taken it upon themselves to announce that although they have to charge the higher amount, they will give fans back the difference to what they wanted to charge as a gift (they won't even charge them interest).
As supporters, we could add an extra one: 11. The season starts NOW. Playoffs are assured, focus on these vital games and roar the team on, instead of focussing on grievances about next season or the 44 games already played. Promotion is within reach, just need the got the fans, players and manager all on the same page, get the KCOM full for the home leg and 100% behind the team, and we might just do it......
Aye, he would have been happy with that agenda for the public domain, it was his hidden agendas that were more important to him.
