today derby turned up and stuck ten men behind the ball. none of the up coming teams will do this as they all have points to gain to help them challenge getting up. derby need one point to be safe and they have done it job done. neil knows what he needs to do. look at how we played againts swansea when we were all told that it was the end of us before christmas. i can see uss winning this weekend two one again come on you rs. also every team has drop points this season with out fail still points to be dropped

A lot of teams go to old trafford or the emirates with 10 men behind the ball
If your good enough you should still be able to create chances
We were completely out of ideas in the second half I'm afraid

That is always going to be a problem, especially when Taarabt has an off day. Derby did defend well. Our one touch game went astray too often, and Derby didn't give us time to play a more considered approach. Smith still looked good, but was crowded out all the time. Had one of the early chances gone in, it would all have been different. However, as was stated above, Saturday will be different as Cardiff will come at us.

It was good to see Connolly start to regain some confidence.

Connolly was the best player we had last night, cant afford to not play well just because a team defends with 10 men. That being said derby came with a game plan and it worked they got in our faces and stopped tarabbt working. I would have liked to see a more creative player come on in dave place maybe hogan or buz with dave and Hulse on the pitch we wearnt gonna win a single challenge.

This Saturday could turn out to be a cracking affair. We must improve 100% with the basics such as passing but presuming we do that ( we've done it most the season so why not ), we could well beat Cardiff. It seems strange to say after an abysmal performance last night but this'll be an entirely different game. Baa'diff desperately need the points and will come at us all guns blazing. We'll have to sit and soak it perhaps for the first 20 minutes or son which we're good at and try catch 'em on the break. It'll be the exact opposite of last night.

This side is made of stern stuff and I wouldn't be at all surprised if we if we put in a great display in contrast to last night.

If Ipswich and Leeds win this week then we can celebrate.
I think we will get a point at Cardiff, beat Hull and Watford and a point against Leeds.
