Is it just me who would rather finish 8th than 7th? I can't be arsed with conference, i don't see it as a major competition and it will just hamper our top 4 push.
That corner thing was beyond a joke, it kept happening and we didn't do anything about it, that is just crap management.
It's true mate ... some simply will not accept that the players I'm referring are not good enough and never ever will be. The manager is overly focused on attitude and players that lick his arse all week too, so we're never going to see the back of them as fast as we'd like. You cannot make some of these players what they're incapable genetically of being.
I don’t think we will ever be a top 4 side under this manager. He’s not a winner. He is a very likable good coach. But not a winner. It’s just the way it is. Every successful team has had to go through these motions. Poor management who want success don’t change things. The top six would love us to keep Howe in charge because they know he isn’t elite. He is good. But not elite. Still I would rather us be close to competing than relegation fodder.
Howe has created a happy environment around him which is good for top half of the table. But it’s not a winning mentality. There has to be some steel. Some grit. The worst manager in manus history has just done him.
Really we are only a couple of seasons in. Even you said originally it would take longer than that. FFP top six protection has held us up.
Howe is living on huff and puff football with a few predictable passing patterns in the corners... that and 300 million on players.. half of which he never plays I wouldn't give him another penny tbh.. see if he can actually get a tune out of what's here and then if he can do something next summer.
We should be at least getting a draw in this game. The defending was shocking. I can’t blame Howe much for the finishing of Isak and Longstaff. But Longstaff is clearly not good enough at this level. Bruno is gone if we finish 8th.
I've genuinely given up hope that this manager is the right guy at this point. I'll get pelters and I don't care, but he's persisting with some really really weird player choices, his in game changes never improve the situation and we never seem to win the crunch games. Look at the way some other sides play as well btw.. they are not doing this huff and puff ****e.. it's way more advanced. If a proper manager wants the job get them it basically... Stop messing around with this small time staff.

I think even you lot are starting to realise that this side isn't as good as you thought. Thank god we might see a new one next season. Could go either way.
It’s been a wake up call. Seeing ETH gloat to the Old Trafford 8k fans that stayed just made it even worse. He has done a number on Howe again. And he knows it. The worst manage in manus history has killed Howe twice. We are meant to be the next Man City. It feels like we are currently the next Everton.
