Apparently we've been linked to Cristian Tello from Barça for £8.1m. From what I've seen he's a fantastic talent and he has scored something like 7 in 22 (mostly off the bench which is good for a 20 year old winger). He could replace Downing. Also he could take Henderson's spot on the right (moving him to the central position he's best at). Thoughts?

Looks a good player...but left sided and we have Sterling coming through....Dont want to do any harm to his development....If he could be used as a utility across a front 3 then I would suggest we go for him, but if purely left sided, we could spend elsewhere in the squad for better benefit.
Fantastic talent, but I have no idea why on earth Barca would let him go. He'll sign a contract there, I highly doubt he'll be joining us unfortunately.
Each time I saw him on TV for Barca, he was as a left wing, playing alongside Messi. No chance of getting him, he is one of the most promising youngsters at Barcelona, would be mad to let him go.
Messi apparently isn't his biggest admirer, has yelled at him often this season during games and during training. They dont have the best chemistry. Tello is also an Espanyol fan I believe. That's why they have set a price for him (allegedly). I would snap him up (replace Downing outright) and at 20 is a greater talent than M. Suarez who I don't rate very highly. Agree that this is mostly paper talk but the more we discuss it, the more chances the rumour will pick up and someone up there will notice it.
Tello is maybe 10-30% realistic. If we got Eriksen I'd be declaring a national holiday. Can Agger manhandle him to Liverpool?

Adams was quality, I'd be happy if we had him in his prime. However, I suspect your talking about Adam... Yeah, his tackle was disgraceful and deserved a straight red. How he had the nerve to argue against a yellow is beyond me. If my memory serves me right, he made three fouls that were at least yellow card offences.
