We will win on Saturday, now I know I say this every week and I know that sometimes I may get it wrong, but this time..... We will go 4-4-2 and we will tear that Man U lot to bits, you know I'm right, dont you?
Got a good feeling about Saturday syd. We've been close a few times now against Man Utd so I reckon we will win this time around, if City can put 6 past them surely we can knock 4 past them.
You know what, I was thinking about maybe a close draw but **** it. We WILL beat Man U. We WILL play beautiful football, and Bentdner WILL score a hat-trick. We WILL win 3-2. You heard it here first.
thats the way, lets get these hopes up, if we cant have a good Sunday we will have a cracking Thursday Friday
Thats the way. Be positive. We normally give Man U a good game then lose in Fergie time so I have to say I would be more that happy with a draw but maybe, just maybe this time we will do it. (and off topic - Jersey, did you get your UCAS personal statement sorted?)
Not yet, I'm seeing the careers head next week to have a check through my personal statement; hopefully after that I'll be able to send it off.
Did you see my PM about it? Are you still going to try for Durham? My son is applying to Durham for his PhD next year as they have world class facilities in his subject (astrophysics and cosmology!!). Good luck to you anyway.
Yep, I saw the pm, it was immensely useful, thank you so much! I'm applying for Durham, St. Andrews, Lancaster, Bath and Stirling. Durham and St. Andrews are my top choices, if I even get an offer from either of them I will be very happy! There's someone in my year applying to do cosmology at Durham next year as well, there are always loads from Jersey! (19 last year from my school went, I think!)
Cosmology is the science of the origin, structure, and space-time relationships of the universe! My son is at Lancaster and is enjoying it. He too applied for Durham and St Andrews but unfortunately he did not 'apply' himself well enough at A levels and did not get the AAA he needed. But he is happy and Lancaster is a really nice university town. I am sure wherever you end up you will have a great time but obviously Durham has other advantages for a Sunderland supporter. How did you get to support Sunderland anyway? Your dad isn't Bob Murray is he?
no, I was born up there, and my mum's family is from South Shields. I moved over here when I was very young, though. I've not met the great Sir Bob, but I've driven past his house many times
