    looking forward now to the new season with our buys so far over the summer,and also seeing the kids coming through in the two friendlies.charlie adam is going to be a real revolution this season and i hope we keep aqua to.i think david ngog will kick on with kenny as the manager,but i do feel we need a top class striker to back up andy carroll or to play along side him,coady flannagan thompson,pachio etc etc well it looks great.
    you see teams like man city,spurs and arsenal trying to keep hold off there big stars and that can only cause them deep trouble for morale.so happy days and well bring it on <ok>

    Agreed to. Lets see if Downing can give Carroll those crosses he needs.

    Kenny clearly wanted to improve the delivery to the strikers. He said when he took over that the final ball out of midfield need improving. Downing has pace and a great cross, Adam has a great through ball and an eye for a good forward run, Henderson has a great right footed cross and movement.

    Carroll, Suarez and Kuyt must be excited about the thought of playing with all of those, plus Gerrard.

    The thing I am looking forward to the most next seson is to see if,after a long time out and proper time to recover,Gerrard will be back to his dominating best.A fully fit Gerrard will be lke having a 'marquee' signing because,lets be honest,he has at times been a peripheral figure at best for the last 18 months.
    Although we are not a 1 man team now and have shown we can still perform without him there isnt a team in the world who wouldn't want him in their team,all guns blazing.
    He will know that he won't play every game and that their is more quality around him then anytime in the last 2/3 seasons.So it will be like having a new player.
    I see a midfield of Gerrard,Adam and Lucas looking very strong but also having Henderson,Mereiles and Aqualani as backup,providing the last 2 stay.
    Can't understand why we would are being linked with Cattermole,I don't see that one at all.
