Seems you lot like your Telly so apart from Come Dine With Me and The Hotel what do you watch?

I loved Man vs Food and there is a new series where he gets other fat ****s to do the challenges instead of risking stage one diabetes himself. The kids like watching Mantracker which can be fun (and a source of perv some times) if they aren't watching kids TV (another source of perv, see previous posts) but not much else registers. I'll usually be happy to flick channels between Dave and How Do They Do That.

With all the different choices of TV programmes and films it is rare that people at work all talk about the same show, back in the day everyone would have seen the big events but nowadays the variety is huge (not necessarily any good).

    What can't you miss?

There is actually precious little that I make a point of watching.

Horrible Histories is probably one of the best programmes on TV.

I usually watch TV from 10pm onwards ...

Just now, two shows I'm watching are Derek and Sons of Anarchy.

I usually watch the Documentary channels or if bored, Dave n Gold for old comedy progs.

I can't say that I'm particularly into any telly at the moment. I was late to the Breaking Bad party, but watched them all in a couple of weeks after I discovered it.

At the moment it would be The Following, new series starting tomorrow night on Sky Atlantic by the writer of Casino and Goodfellas called Vegas and there is a new show starting in the next few weeks called Revolution which is supposed to be good.

Got into the wire late and am missing Boardwalk Empire.

    Currently alive series:

    Breaking Bad
    Dexter
    Boardwalk Empire
    Game of Thrones
The Walking Dead (good bad tv show - but I've a hard on for the Zombie genre which pushes it to good good)
    Suits (good bad tv show)
The Following (medium bad tv show)

    Series that are finished.

    The Wire
    Sopranos
    Rome
Big Love (bad good tv show)
    Carnivale (only lasts two seasons)
    Deadwood (only lasts two seasons)

    ------------------

Documentary channels are dead, they all show cheaply produced reality shows - BBC4 is the single biggest source of properly produced documentaries these days. I never watch BBC1/2 or ITV and delve in and out of Channel 4 which tends to be of higher quality other than their preference for freak shows ('Undatables', 'get your septic twat out live' etc)

Yeah BBC 4 is excellent. Some of the arcchive stuff is stunning.
