I feel sorry for Morgan. Not saying his behaviour helps but he genuinely just wants to better himself and has been caught up in club trying to stop all their good players leaving

Lol, not sure if this is genius sarcasm or a genuine post. Either way, gave me a smile :)

    Quite right too.

When your employer, who pay you a really quite significant salary, decides to change philosophy, that's up to them, not you.

He should stop being a prick. As should those that are sympathising with him. It's not his call when his employers decide to change tack. Sorry dickhead.

Clearly I reserve the right to love him once more when he gets his head round this.

If he wants his big move, he can spend half a season or a full season playing like an absolute madman, at which he'll assuredly find a suitor willing to pay enough for his services. If he wants to carry this grievance all year, he can look forward to summertime swoops from Sunderland and West Ham in '15. His choice.

Rubbish, he has got caught up in a club that will not sell it's stars for derisory sums. It's nothing to do with him missing the boat, its due to receiving better than market value bids for the other players. If Spurs or Arsenal offer £25m+ he will be gone, and the club will utilise the 'we had no alternative' escape.

Why couldn't we have been this firm all throughout the summer?

Although having 1 bad apple as opposed to 7/8 is better i guess, it's just unfortunate timing for Morgan perhaps? Either way, he needs to knuckle down, and get on with it. He was more than happy to sign his contract last year.

Because, as highlighted by Krueger - we got bloody good fees for the others. Spurs have been derisory and we had to close the floodgates.

"He was also named both Player’s Player and Fan’s Player of the Year at Southampton."

doubt he'll get that this year... christ.

It's not a completely satisfying explanation by Krueger. They were all good fees, but we didn't need all of that money.

Or alternatively a club letting the majority of their good players leave, and trying to keep at least one back to build a team around. Save your first world concern - he's at one of the top eight clubs in the country, and nasty Ron is stopping him from his superb development at the country's sixth best club for one extra year.

Basically that. Depending on what he was told, he may have been within his rights to feel aggrieved initially, but that's as far as it goes. Be miserable for a day or two, fire off some ill-conceived messages on social media, then calm down and move on. We all do/say stupid things in the heat of the moment, but that window has long since elapsed...it's time to get back to work.

Personally I want him to go now he has no class or interest so why keep him.

If I was LR or RK I would say to him 'Ok, we'll let you go, but it will be on our terms. Let them play up if they want you that much. The bid/offer received will show how much they really value you'.

Read he's back training today, fair enough. I should imagine he'll be gone by the end of August but please not to Spurs. Just so the board can have a bit of respect, if they have to, sell him to Arsenal or abroad. That'll piss Spurs right off and my brother as well. Can't for the life of me think why Morg would want to go there unless he really desires Europa league, like our ex manager obviously wanted a punt at for the rest of his time there

Very good. I chuckled. All we need is for Clattenburg to confirm it now. :)

Its about time the balance of power was restored a little and these pampered arseholes get put in there place. The days of LeTiss, Benali, Paine and the like, have long since gone and we are left with overpaid mercenaries who tout their wares with no regard to contracts, employer's or supporters.
Shame the club didn't make a similar stance with Chambers?
Oh feel better now, rant over.

I think chambers will be the one that could be a huge loss, especially of he turns our to be a solid WC starter at CB. His versatility is very good aswell.

I'm glad the club are in control of the Morgan saga.. must be very difficult for him to be paid thousands each week to play the game he loves, I'd rip his hand off for a fraction.
