    I love the goal music.

I've grown up with it, and to me, it's a central part of the matchday experience (assuming that we score, as we usually do). I genuinely feel that it adds to the jubilation after a goal, there's not many better sights than the whole Barclay jumping up and down in unison and waving their arms around like idiots.

Is the rest of the world seeing something in Wellbeck that I'm missing? He has a significant vote for very few goals this season despite playing for a club who create an awful lot of chances.

i'm yet to be convinced by welbeck. he's definitely got something but i'm not quite sure what it is yet! i think out of him and sturridge, welbeck should go because i think he's rangy and could offer something a bit different, ie balls over the top, but i agree that he is not a stand-out player by any means. had to laugh the other day when i heard someone saying 'he's formed a wonderful partnership with rooney'... they've barely scored any goals from open play between them when they started together! in fact, they seem to have based this entirely on their excellent performance together against everton, the first time that one had managed to create an assist for the other this season <doh>

Same reason so many idiots voted for Boris Johnson and the Tories at the last general Election before that - this country is full of gullible idiots who believe whatever is thrust upon them by the media without even attempting to look behind the story. It's what makes me despair about this country on a daily basis <ok>

Zamora, Carroll and Lambert = Distinctly average players...Carroll especially, apart from the last few games WHAT has he done of note this season? How can you ignore a 16-goal striker like Holt, and select a £35m utter failure like that waste of space? Honestly, some people have minds like goldfish/have been meditating in outer *****lia with tribal nomads while permanently pissed on fermented yak's milk not to have heard how awful he was!

And what the hell is this Lambert chat, get in line like the rest of them: Graham and Holt are both better options, and have proven it at the highest level, unlike the latter.

The £35,000,000 for Carroll is irrelevant. It shouldn't be used for or against him. What matters is he has scored **** all despite decent service all season!
