Pair of ****ing donkeys. Doubt between them they'll score as many goals per season as Hooper.

Should have signed Finnbogason but the board acted like Scrooge yet again.

thought pukki showed an improvement on Saturday, least let the players settle before being harsh on them .No doubt you wanted rid of Henrik after 2 or 3 games ,set up a Hibs winner and his first goal at Celtic Park was an own goal

Every time you criticise a new player someone comes up with the Larsson example. The truth is Pukki is a poor man's Hooper and Balde is a slighly better version of Bangura (that's not a compliment). My point is Lennon was probably forced into signing these players because the Board wouldn't stump up the £5m or so needed to sign Finnbogason.

I think Balde was a work in progress never intended for a starting place this season but coming on with 5 minutes to go isn't going to help him, Pukki has looked like a ordinary player so far.

Stokes is no better than he has ever been but as the squad is far weaker up front he's more important than he's ever been.

i thought pukki was ****e on sat. from what i have seen of bobo he looks ordinary to say the least, however, until he gets a run in the team i am not sure how we can judge him.

John Park gets praise galore for the likes of wanyamma but he seems to recommend lots of utter dross as well.

I agree with ST though that the board should have sanctioned a move for a goal scorer, whether that be finnbogason or not. Stokes looks totally out of his depth leading the line in the champions league

I think Stokes is going to end up better used ala Samaras. play him on the wing.

Although he can score more than Sammy he is not a poacher

Trouble for Pukki is I think he is similar and doesnt complement Stokes well. Think we need a Hooperesque player to see the best out of any of Stokes or Pukki

And Balde clearly isnt for the here and now

Exactly, but one of them would cost more than £2m and the board aren't going to do that despite having qualified for the CL.

See Finboggson linked with West Ham today also. 11 goals in 10 games this season. We could have had him, and sold him for double with CL exposure!

****s me right off. I can understand them not wanting to spend to a degree - but this guy clearly would have turned a profit in a year or two

That is it. We all knew we needed a goalscorer to replace Hooper.

We got a forward named Pukki who isn't that sort of player. The pressure on Pukki ramps up x100 every single game he doesn't score goals goals goals as we get a more and more impatient with him for not being what we needed at that time.

A recipe for breaking a player even if he is great at doing other things.

It gets worse the more Finbogasson scores compared to the Time Derk spends on his back, Balde spends on his arse and Pukki spends off the scoresheet.

Exactly, why the board fail to understand the difference between going to Asda and buying three pairs of George Jeans and going elsewhere to purchase a genuine pair of Levis for the same price as those three substandard Asda denims is beyond me
