Probably, think they should follow the lead of cricket and tennis were each team has a set amount of appeals per a game (say 2), and if u waste them u lose them. Plus players would think twice about diving as they'd know they wouldn't be able to get away with it.

It definitely shouldn't be used to determine if a player has dived, unless you mean when deciding if a penalty appeal is legitimate.

Well it would be up to the team, but they aren't going to risk it for a decision on the halfway line, if my idea was used. I mean you'd look stupid if you appealed for a free kick on the halfway line near the technical area, lost an appeal for it and then 10 minutes later u missed out on a goal that was like this.

I agree a set amount of appeals per game would be good. I don't want every single decision going to replay it'd just be stop start stop start all the frigging time

Exactly, noticed watching the cricket World Cup, that the 90% of the appeal are proved correct, so this again would make teams have to think carefully.

Set number of appeals would be perfect. How it isn't in use already i do not know.

Appeals are a good call, but I don't see why you shouldn't have a touch judge like in rugby...People say it would slow the game down, but in the time it takes the ref to clear all the complaining players out of the way they could've watched the video evidence 5/6/7 times over!
