I thought this was worth a thread of its own after the "hating" topic appeared on another thread. The teams I hate are
    Chelsea, for the Parker business, and the desert they made us play on;

The Old Firm, for the religious bigotry they bring to the game in Scotland.

    er......that's it

i friggin hate celtic - their supporters are deluded in thinking they're be better than a middle of the table championship team.

also got big dislikes for sheffield wednesday - again, their fans calling us a tin pot club the year we battered them in league one.

and west ham. i dislike the wide boy type of fans they have and they're ability to ride on the very edge of luck (e.g. they stay in the prem easily, when we have a bad day we go down two leagues).

Totally agree, not going to lie, would rather they go down and get battered every week than Millwall.

Don't really hate any club, partly because every one has dedicated supporters like ours. One of the few highlights in League One was seeing superb folk from Hartlepool and Carlisle etc enjoying a trip to our place. Its great when you are travelling to some remote Northern out post like Watford, and you bump into a few hardy souls from Yeovil making the 800 mile round trip to Sheffield Wed. Had some great chats over the years with away fans on the train back to London Bridge after the game, although I am not expecting many this Saturday <whistle>

There is no finer breed on this Earth than the genuine football fan.

Everyone used to hate Nottingham Forest, Liverpool and West Ham United. Not any more. Is this because we live in a more tolerant society?

I have strong dislikes for Chelsea for the Parker business, beachgate and the general moronic nature of the majority of their supporters. Sheffield Wednesday for their 'massive' club attitude and West Ham because of the Tevez/Mascherano thing the year we got relegated from the prem, I know we would have still gone down and it was Sheff United that were hard done by but it still leaves a bit of sourt taste. Having watched the hammers yesterday, I also dislike the way they make no effort to play any type of football.

If people in Syria spent less time hating their neighbours and more time talking to them then perhaps that Country wouldn't be in such a mess at present. That being said, I do really hate Celery!

I dont mind MK Don's either, prefer them to THE MASSIVE, but I can't stand the MK Don's gaffa, he annoys me, is arrogant, sore loser, can never accept he's beaten by the better team and I hope to never see him in our ground or our league again.

Not quite the same without Simon Jordan, although his stench does still linger.

I have always had more friends who were fans of Palace than any other club (including Charlton). I was brought up in SE19 (Upper Norwood) as a 3rd generation Charlton fan, and as a late teenager I was one of very few CAFC fans who could walk to home games at The Donkey Sanctuary. I now live and teach in SM6 (Wallington) which is pretty much Palace territory for those who are genuine fans. Hate is a strong word, I always want them to lose for all the traditional reasons, like the banter and being able to face the world.
I also lived for 8 years in Brighton so my "look for a negative Palace result conditioning" is quite engrained. The emergence of the Homesdale Fanatics/ Palace Ultras has recently toughened my anti-Palace stance. The sight of fat middle aged men and little boys trying to invoke some hooligan past is frankly laughable.

Millwall represent a lot of things I don't like about the game "No one likes us, we don't care." I hope we dont go too far down the road of aping them in pursuit of "atmosphere".

Between them MK Dons and Chelsea represent everything else I don't like about football.

I've sort of forgiven Man Utd because they're not Man City and Watford and Sheffield Wednesday irritate.

West Ham - I have never met a decent Hammers fan in my life.
    Palace - Just utter knob-ends.
    Millwall - Just utter knob-ends.
Leeds - Just utter northern knob-ends.

As for Simon Jordon, he actually produced the wonderful film, Telstar, about the later life of Joe Meek. This moving portrayal of a tortured genius is, in my opinion, a work of art and deserved so many more plaudits than it received - especially the sublime Con O'Neill as Meek.

I always look for the best in everyone and every team but Palace is a reminder to go to the opticians.

Don Revie's old Leeds team must be the most universally hated team ever.
