    what you rekon lads?

    For Boro

    ------------- Westwood -------------

    Bardsley -- O'Shea - Kilgallon --- Rose

    --- Larsson - Cattermole - Colback ---

    Johnson ------- Saha ----- Sessegnon

subs: Cuellar, Mignolet, Meyler, Vaughan, Campbell, Ji, Wickham

    For Villa

    -------------- Mignolet --------------

    Bardsley -- O'Shea - Cuellar ---- Rose

    -- Gardner - Cattermole - Vaughan ---

    Johnson ----- Fletcher ---- Sessegnon

subs: Kilgallon, Westwood, Larsson, Colback, Campbell, Saha, Wickham

tactics would be to get the full backs high up the pitch and get them overlapping, get the ball played on the deck and get back to front as quickly as we can, plenty of movement and a fast tempo to the game, get the ball to Sess and Johnson as early as we can.

as for McClean I would take him out the squad completely and put him in the reserves for a few games, lad is a waste of a shirt at the minute.

Sess has been poor but a part of that IMO is the formation and the way we set ourselves out

IF we can play high tempo, counter attacking and 4/3/3 with Sess on the left or right of the front 3 then I would have him in the starting 11 as I think it will suit him far more than what we have seen so far.

    The answer is so simple Poolie marra;

    GK- Mig
    RB- Bardsley
    LB- Colback
    CH- Ceullar
    CH- O'Shea
    RW- Johnson
    LW- Rose
    CM- Catts
    CM- Gardner
    CF- Saha
    CF- Fletcher.

    Strongest team available imo.

Now thats what im ****ing talking about Rose is far better mid than Colbeck who in turn is a decent left back, and the glimpses ive seen of Zaha we should be playing 2 strikers at home.

I would ring a lot more changes, give fringe players a chance to impress and if they do play them at Villa.

    Something like.....
    Westwood
    Bardo...Kilgallon...Bramble...Rose
    Gardner...Meyler...Vaughan
    Larsson...Saha...AJ

Campbell, Ji, Wickham, Fletch & Saha up front. F*ck midfield its sh*te anyway. Lets f*cking attack for a change and have some shots on goal. Better still lets have some goals.

Like Billy's idea of playing Rose on the LW how about switching and putting Jimmy Mac in the LB position.

Nah Froggy, put Macca in the skip.

Colback is more than capable at LB.

    -------------- Westwood --------------

    Bardsley -- O'Shea - Cuellar ---- Colback

    Johnson-- Gardner - Cattermole ----Rose

    ----- Fletcher ---- Saha

Westwood in for Mig seems to be the way MON is playing the cup games, hopefully Bardsley will be back for this one at RB if not Gardner there and Vaughan in the middle. Push Colback into LB and Rose up to LW not ideal but, without a recognised LB that's about as good as we can get at present.
Then the big one 2 yes 2 up top playing as out and out strikers with Fletcher being the one to track back when needed (not sure Saha will be up to it all game).

I like both teams, simply because of the 433 formation. It's attack minded & fluid. It would get the best out of sess and aj. It could become 5 man midfield when defending keeping us solid. Certainly at home games.
