Heaton Moloney Fontaine Nyatanga Cunningham Kelly Elliott Pearson Adomah---------------------Anderson Davies
------------------------Heaton------------------------- ---Moloney--Nyatanga--Fontaine--Cunningham--- ----------------Elliott--Kelly--Pearson---------------- -------Adomah---------------------------Davies------- ------------------------Baldock------------------------ Baldock needs to start a game, and I think he could do a job against Cardiff's defense. Davies and Adomah would be good behind Baldock and would cause a few problems and Pearson will link up well with Davies along with Cunningham making runs.
Same as smhbcfc. Also hope he plays with a back 3. Suits Fonts (especially) and Tangle much better. Just read Kilkenny might be fit and SOD seems to like him - me, I'd never pick the tw8t again.
I have a sneaky feeling that Cole Skuse might be fit enough instead of Pearson. Does he start with Albert and Sam? I'd say yes to Albert but leave Sam on the bench. And 3-5-2 is fine with me, as we will have some real pace to attack on the break if AA plays.
Albert Adomah IS our best player and you PLAY your best players. He has to start. Do you think Messi wouldn't play if he missed a month and was again available even though the other striker who replaced him was doing just as well? Adomah has to start and it will be nice to see Kelly play a Central role rather than on the right side
Messi and Ronaldo are in another world but for mere mortals who play in the Championship it's a team game and those who do well and win often stay in. SOD has to manage the players and keep them ALL motivated and for the cause. Albert Adomah's been sunning himself in the limelight of the Africa Nations whilst our lot for the last 5 or 6 weeks have remained giving everything to Bristol City - not bloody Ghana. SOD may well start with Adomah, he might not but whichever I'm happy to leave it to SOD.
S O'D will choose the players to fit what ever system he decides will give us the best chance against Cardiff, based on players as much as pos in their proper position so it wouldn't surprise me to see Albert starting so Kelly can go back to Central Midfield nor would it surprisew me to see an unchanged team it is all going to depend on what system he decides to adopt.
Heaton Moloney Fontaine Nyatanga Cunningham Adomah Kelly Elliott Howard Anderson Stead SoD will go with this team no doubt
I know Albert's good but comparing him to Messi ----------------------Heaton--------------- Maloney---Carey/Bates/-- Fontaine---Cunningham (if neither Carey or Bates fit move Fontaine along and use Nyatanga) Kelly --- Howard---Elliott/Skuse---Anderson -------------Davies -----Stead (all Cardiff fans this week in work have been commenting on how much he scores against them and are really worried about him) Adomah and Baldock can be very good impact subs
If Baldock is fit then I think this is a good setup for the Baaaadiff game, leaving the bench with the likes of Anderson and Skuse (if fit), as well as Steady.
City v Cardiff - Heaton; Moloney, Nyatanga, Fontaine, Foster, Kelly, Elliott, Pearson, Anderson, Stead, Davies. Muscle strain keeps Greg Cunningham out of the Severnside derby. Subs - Gerken, J.Wilson, Kilkenny, Howard, Adomah, Reid, Burns.
