Everyone is fit and available again. So here is what I would go with

Schmeichel

De Laet
Morgan
Wasilewski
Schlupp

Knockaert
Drinkwater
James
Mahrez

Nugent
Wood

Subs- Logan, Moore, King, Hammond, Dyer, Phillips, Vardy

Some people might think I have lost the plot by dropping Vardy as he is the man in form and no way does he deserve to lose his place, but he is on 9 bookings and IMO its vital he is available for Burnley and its free to play his normal game. Stringer said he wasnt his normal self today because of this suspension hanging over him. No disrespect to Yeovil but its a game we should be winning with or without Vardy and Chris Wood is no ones mug. We still have if needed the pace of both Dyer and Vardy to bring off the bench if needed so we still have a luxury of options available

Kasper
Liam Wes Was Schlupp
Knocky Kingy Deano Lloyd
Mahrez
Wood

I suggested that on FoxesTalk.

I wouldnt go making massive changes. If we take Yeovil lightly we will lose, thats the nature of the championship. Lets put out our best team (minus Vardy) try and get the game won and then sub off players like Drinkwater and James

Interesting ... the Vardy dynamic makes sense ... would also be OK with one or two others provided they are all on the bench "just in case" ...

I can see that happening to be fair an it would make perfect sense. But then if Wood goes and gets a hat trick who do you go with v Burnley. Very hypothetical I know. Also agree that we cant take Yeovil lightly. They almost beat Wigan away last week.

Yes it´s hard to disagree, it´ll give him a rest aswell & that should do him some good.

Are we saying he needs to get booked v Burnley ? :emoticon-0110-tongu

4 points from are next 2 games would be nice... 6 would be even better.

I've always thought we would get something at Burnley .. they need to come at us and that will suit us breaking against them with our pace ... this has been a season of record breaking for us and I'm expecting us to add Burnley's unbeaten home record to that list .... you can all shoot me down for that by this time next week <laugh> ... bloody hell, I'm even going to tip Nuge scoring from open play <laugh>

Got to keep Vardy in in my opinion, but I accept it's a tricky one. Seems incredible that he's so integral to our team now. I still have faith in Wood though, and I think putting him in against Burnley wouldn't necessarily be a weaker option. He's got a point to prove.

Think we might see Moore in for De Laet. I thought De Laet had a disappointing game at Blackburn (and Nugent for that matter) I know he set up the goal, but defensively I thought he was poor.

I don't like picking out players for having a poor game, maybe "poor" by the standards that have been set so high this season.

Was De Laet brought off for Moore because of injury? Personally I'd have Moore in at CB, but not RB. If he's fit, I think De Laet has to play there, he just gives us more of an attacking edge. I'm expecting us to really go for it against Yeovil, there are no games (barring maybe Burnley) where we shouldn't be playing to win so we can get promoted as quickly as possible.

People moaned at Nigel for changing too much against Huddersfield in the cup last season and now they want changes

Yeovil are still capable of beating us and its not a guaranteed 3 points

The only reason I would drop Vardy is because of the suspension thing hanging over him other then that we need our strongest 11 starting and right now Moore, King, Hammond, Dyer etc. are not in it

I'm never in favour of wholesale changes ... but we have a much deeper squad now than we did in the Huddersfield game last season ... and I'd want Vardy to play against Burnley because he is our most potent striker (Phillips perhaps cooler in terms of finishing - but Vardy's work rate is phenomenal) ... but De Laet had a particularly poor game defensively against Blackburn and Liam is chomping at the bit ...

De Laet has been superb since he came back into the team so 1 bad game while the team is on a 17 match unbeaten run doesnt seem worthy or dropping him IMO

Vardy is more being rested then dropped

I agree. Even when he had a poor game, De Laet still managed to set up our goal! Let's not be fickle, he's been great. I'd only drop him if he's been ill/carrying an injury/needs a rest.

Shaky said De Laet took a knock in the 1st half and was taken off as a precaution. He expected everyone to train yesterday. Even Hopper and St Ledger played yesterday so everyone at the club is fit.

The question is: What the hell is the training routine etc at Forest and QPR with the amount of injuries they have has/are having this season?!

Just to add to the dynamic - perhaps for the run-in mix - Jacob Blyth scored all 4 goals in a 4-1 win over Reading for the U-21s

Afterwards Development Squad boss Steve Beaglehole told LCFC.com: “He (Jacob Blyth) is a finisher. We see it in training and he’s certainly the best finisher in that group. I was delighted with him, and also delighted to see Tom Hopper back playing after injury."
