    I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue.

The only snippets on offer are; a) in a late press conference the Gaffer gave out nothing about the team and didn't even bother to confirm that Kamara has indeed been give a 3 match ban b) in the month of November the Wolves record over their last 18 games is 0 wins. Oh heck .... not going there!

[Edit: Kamara's ban was overturned late on Thursday]

    Guessing we'll revert to 4-3-3:

    ................Bettinelli (hopefully)....
    ...Fredericks...Odoi...Ream...Soares..
    ......................McDonald....
    ............Cairney...........Johansen.....
    ......Kebano........Fonte.......Sessegnon...

To be honest McDonald is the only one I'm certain about.

I'd play Mollo ahead of Kebano, but otherwise I'd be happy with that line up.

I'm more than slightly worried about this game though!

What has happened to Kalas? Have you benched him or is he injured?

Mollo is fit but wasn't even watching Tuesday night's game. Understand he has been at home with his family for the last week.

After the bollocking he had from McDonald in the first half on Tuesday night (twice in fact) doubt if he's mentally in a fit state to play. If you recall he was subbed at half time.

    Tonight we have David Coote.

please log in to view this image

Last season we saw a fair bit of the Coote, always at the Cottage and each game having a memorable twist -

v Middlesbrough back in August 2016 when our youngsters took on the then Premiership side and beat them 2-1 with an extra time goal from Lasse Vegan Christensen

v Huddersfield in October and that 5-0 scoreline.

v Wigan in February and who can forget that 94th minute winner from Neeskens Kebano .. or was it a Dan Burn og?

v Aston Villa in February, with a sweet 3-1 win and Villa losing the plot; picking up 3 yellows, as well as Kodjia seeing red.

Shortly before this season started Coote saw himself red carded - he was suspended for alleged misconduct. No idea what the specific charges were or the determination but the Nottingham whistler has only recently resumed his ref duties. So far he's ref'd 3 Championship games and dished out 12 yellows.

Obviously we'll never know but feel we'd have fared better is Soares had started instead of Ayite.

Footnote: has Johansen forgotten how to pass the ball?

Watched the last 15min on stream,it looked like men against boys,we once again seemed afraid to
    attack their goal .
Slavi "There is criticism, thrown at me for lack of results and i can understand the supporters frustration
but we will not be abandoning our method and style of play
    " WHAT ARROGANCE..
We need someone in charge who can orchestrate a more direct style of play this guy has lost the plot.
Remember 4 of the teams immediately below us have games in hand by the end of Nov we could well be
1 place above the relegation zone

Not the best of nights. We are lacking confidence particularly our strikers. Our possession is counting for nothing as we are far too lame in the final third - the story for most of our games so far. We barely threatened them at all tonight.

Int'l break has come at a good time. We have the basics, we need a fit Cairney and work on the attack. Start again and try and recreate some of the form we finished the season with. Wolves were good but bar them I don't see another obvious team to go up with them.

Yup, since at the moment we pass for the sake of passing, with no real purpose. And at least one, if not two, in our midfield rarely found a white shirt.

I'm all for a long Int'l break ... till January.

I have a feeling that the clubs administration / managerial staff could be in for a shake up
over the next couple of weeks ( something needs to be done)

It seems that the players have lost the confidence of last season. Four wins in 16 games with too many draws. The manner in which we lose goals is a real problem.
Have they lost confidence in the coaches system of keeping possession at all cost. As I've said before a slow possession build up allows the opposition to recover their defensive cover before we've crossed the halfway line. There's been very few games where we've had defences facing their own goal as we attack.

The time for this type of possession is when you are winning the game and need to keep the ball and frustrate the opposition into making mistakes.

From what I can see SJ is determined to stick with his choice of tactics come what may, and his interview last night seemed to blame players that had come in and not adapted to the league yet and way he wants to play.
