N'Golo Kante is out with a hamstring strain but everyone else is fit and available. I think this match will suit us a lot better then our 2 homes games as Watford have no relegation worries and there an attacking team so I don't think they will set out to make life difficult for as they will try and beat us. Here is what I would go with Schmeichel Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs Albrighton King Drinkwater Schlupp Mahrez Vardy Subs- Schwarzer, Amartey, Inler, Gray, Dyer, Ulloa, Okazaki
I'm going to watch their game today first before giving my opinion as that is pretty much how Man Utd start with only one striker. I do prefer 2 proper strikers though - Okazaki gives us the headless chicken energy that we can use with Kante out.
What did schlupp do to gain a starting place - if okazaki is a headless chicken we are replacing him with another one.
Okazaki is too indirect at times, he doesn't take the initiative himself and Schlupp does I do like Okazaki but he is very frustrating at times
Bit unfair to judge him on a cameo and he did get in many dangerous postions, yes his final balls wasn't great but he caused them more issues then Okazaki missing chances from yards out
OK lets drop Vardy he headed against the bar as well If okazaki is frustrating so is schlupp He is Lloyd dyer mark 2 - great pace but no final ball at least lloyd did have the odd game when he was on fire (ok its was a lower league)
Looking at Man Utd we 100% need 2 strikers - Watford are outnumbering them in defense and Man Utd needed a great free kick to score. Would stick with Okazaki as well as his workrate will be needed.
It will depend if we play like we did against WBA ... or play like we did against Norwich ... 2 counter attacking teams, Watford won't sit back at home, will be one hell of a match ... 0-0
Think it was Kante you read about NZ. Will miss the Watford game then allegedly available again. Nothing on Mahrez.
How's this for a scenario ...Leicester beat Watford .....Arsenal beat Tottenham .... The Foxes up 6 points on both Spurs and Gunners with 9 to play . Will you guys still be happy with only a Champions League spot .... I think not .
Can't see any reason to change the formation that has taken us this far. Okazaki plays the role he has been asked to carry out really well.
That would probably be the most ideal, if it did happen i'd be disappointed if we dropped out the top 3. Think its still too early to consider 1st, even if that did happen, think i'd only judge our top spot credentials around mid-april.

Same team. They played really well against West Brom, it was probably one of our best attacking performances of the season IMO. Just couldn't get that crucial third goal. Watford are confident, and will come at us, however, and that team is certainly the one which has caused such damage to the likes of Man City and Liverpool recently. Personally, I'd be pleased with a draw with this game, as long as Arsenal beat Spurs!
